New Exact Solutions of a Second Grade MHD Flow Through Porous Media Using Travelling Wave Method
Abstract
MHD flow equations are non-linear partial differential equations. In this essay,we have considered the flow of an incompressible fluid through a porous medium and have employed a strategy based on the traveling wave solution. By utilizing wave parameters, the non-linear equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations. In this approach, all the fluid parameters, initially functions of (x, y, t), are now represented by a single variable ‘z’ through the transformation z = bx + ay + ct. Finally, expressions for the pressure function, magnetic field, vorticity, velocity components, and other parameters are derived for two different cases, and comparisons are drawn with previously known results.
