Author Guidelines

Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts to this journal. All submissions will undergo an initial evaluation by an editor to assess their relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts deemed suitable will then be forwarded for peer review, based on which a final decision on acceptance or rejection will be made.

Prior to submission, authors must obtain the necessary permissions to include any third-party content such as photographs, documents, or datasets. All listed authors must have agreed to be credited as contributors. Additionally, if applicable, the research should have received ethical approval from the appropriate committee in accordance with the laws of the country in which the study was conducted.

Submissions may be desk-rejected by the editor if they do not meet the journal’s minimum quality standards. Authors are advised to ensure that their study design is coherent, and that the research argument is clearly presented. The title should be succinct, and the abstract must effectively summarize the work on its own. Meeting these criteria improves the chances of attracting qualified reviewers.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement of PUJM

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Punjab University Journal of Mathematics publishes letters, reviews regular articles and referred conference papers in a particular area of Mathematical Sciences. For publication of conference papers (from a conference or symposium) the conference organizer may contact and negotiate with the chief editor but such papers are subject to the referring process.
  • Manuscripts should be typewritten and in a form suitable for publication. As far as possible, the use of complicated notations should be avoided. Manuscript for publication may be submitted directly to the editorial office though Log in
  • If the paper is accepted, the source file of the paper Latex/Tex AMS format will be required.
  • Reference should be given at the end of the paper and be referred by numbers in serial order on square brackets, e.g. [3]. For Reference Formatting, please follow the APA Reference Style Latest Edition. 
  • The decision to accept or reject a paper for publication in the journal rests fully with the Editorial Board.
  • Submitted articles must not exceed 35 pages in total, including figures, tables, and references.

  • Authors are not permitted to withdraw their paper after the peer review process has been completed.

  • The article title and author list cannot be modified after submission. Ensure all information is final and accurate before submitting.

  • References should be recent and relevant.

  • All journal articles are freely accessible online, provided that the authors have paid the Article Processing Charges (APC). For articles where the APC has not been paid, only the abstract will be published.
