COPE Compliance Statement

The Punjab University Journal of Mathematics (PUJM) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, fairness, and accountability in scholarly publishing. The journal follows the principles, guidelines, and best practice recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) throughout its editorial and publication processes.

PUJM applies internationally recognized ethical standards to manuscript handling, authorship and contributorship, peer review, conflicts of interest, plagiarism prevention, research misconduct, editorial decision-making, corrections, and retractions. All submitted manuscripts are processed through a fair, confidential, impartial, and transparent editorial workflow.

The journal requires authors to submit original research work that has not been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another journal. Authors must ensure the accuracy of their research findings, provide appropriate citations and acknowledgments, disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest, and comply with ethical standards relevant to their research.

Editors and editorial board members of PUJM are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the publication process. Editorial decisions are based on the originality, mathematical significance, quality, and contribution of manuscripts. Decisions are made independently and without discrimination based on authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, or other personal characteristics.

PUJM follows a rigorous peer review process. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations of submitted manuscripts. Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and should not use unpublished information from manuscripts for personal or professional benefit.
